Writers
I delight in working directly with writers and all of Script Angel's work is carried out personally by me. As an experienced Script Editor I will be able to give you clear, honest, constructive feedback that will enable you to dramatically improve your script.
I am passionate about encouraging and nurturing writing talent and always look to develop a strong, supportive relationship with my writers. As well as working with some of the most successful UK screenwriters I continue to seek out and help to develop new writers. I have previously set up a successful Writers’ Development Scheme at ITV Yorkshire and have assessed for the BBC's 'Casualty' Shadow Scheme and the ITV Carlton Screenwriters' Course. I have also delivered workshops and mentoring for TAPS and the M.A in TV Scriptwriting at De Montfort University.
I remain actively involved in the UK film and television industry, developing original projects and script editing on produced feature films and commissioned television dramas and comedies. I have strong working relationships with all the major literary agents as well as many producers, directors and commissioners. If I think that your writing is exceptional then I will do my best to open industry doors for you.
My aim is to provide a bespoke service to writers to develop their scripts within the context of the current market.

As a Script Editor with over ten years experience in both development and production script editing I am acutely aware of the commerical and production demands on any given project. I am able to offer a fresh editorial pair of eyes on your project at any stage of the development process, from outline to shooting script.
I offer analysis of the story, characters and dialogue and provide solutions to the problems your script is facing. As well as offering editorial assessments I can also help solve production problems with the script (length, budget, cast, scheduling) offering solutions that overcome production issues without compromising the editorial intergrity of the piece or the writers' vision.

Copyright
Your work is completely safe at Script Angel. I won't pass your script on to any other party without your prior consent.
The author of a script holds automatic copyright in the UK - if you wrote it, the copyright belongs to you. See this Writers' Guild FAQ for more information.
However, if you do wish to register your work, you can do so for a fee at various places, including The Script Factory.

Script Angel receives a great many submissions, and similarities of subject matter often occur. We cannot undertake to compensate you if material similar to yours, received coincidentally from another source, is subsequently commissioned or produced.
